Wow, I really never write any journal entries. My last entry was begging for money for the Broken Legacy Kickstarter.
Well the comic is now finished. We, Rian Miller and I, were set to premier the book at Boston Comic Con until a couple of psychopath terrorists thought it would be a good idea to blow people up.
So I went out to Boston the Thursday before the con and then the FBI, who are amazing, figured out who the bombers were only a couple of days after the bombing. We celebrated that night because we knew it wouldn't be long until they found these douche bags. We went to bed and woke up Friday watching as the entire city of Boston was shut down. Word came down that the con was canceled but fortunately they caught the guy late that night.
So no comic con premier for the book. That was disappointing but it's hard to complain when you look at the big picture. It's sad to think of those that lost their lives because of these maniacs. It was very surreal to be down close to the bomb site.
I've just posted up a 6 page preview of the book here on deviantARt. If you enjoy the preview then head on over to the Stock*Pile Comics store, name your price, and download the digital copy which is completely DRM-free.
Here is a link to the store.
gumroad.com/stockpilecomics#Ce…With no con to promote the book I now turn to social media.
I've worked really hard and am really proud of this book. I really just want to get it in people's hands. So here is what I need from all of you...
Spread the word.
Links, blog posts, tweets, reviews, anything you can do. It would be a huge help to me and Rian.
Thanks for your support! On to issue #2!
