Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Looking for an Inker

I'm working on a new comic and haven't decided if I want to ink my own work or not. I'm not crazy about my inks. I'm possibly looking for an inker who can add something to my pencils.

I have nine pages and a cover that we will be using as a pitch. It has a slight possibility of becoming a paying gig but for now its non-paying.
Whether or not we get picked up by a publisher I WILL be self publishing the entire book so if you want an opportunity to see your work in print this might be for you.

I am a stickler for good inks. I'm a tyrant when it comes to my line work. Please keep that in mind if you want to contact me. My favorite inkers are Dexter Vines, Richard Friend, and Scott Williams... they respect the penciler's lines and still add a little something of their own. Thats really what I'm looking for.

So if anyone is interested please let me know. You can take something from my gallery and ink it up or message me and I can email you one of the finished pages to show me your work. Thanks!
