This is a thank you for the 2000 page views. I thought that it was pretty cool. Made my day... which happens to fall on the 1st of the year! So a big thank you to everyone!
I started this about 4 hours ago. I am so happy on how it turned out. I'm not the biggest Watchmen fan but how can you not like the book. I bought the Absolute edition and looking over all the extras have been a blast.
This image is loosly based off of a Dave Gibbons' piece for a signature plate for French limited edition portfolio. I tooke some liberty's with the hard shadows. But I am really pleased on the results. I might ink it and I might color it. We shall see.
